My name is Hannah and I am a professional Cross Country Skier. I am currently racing for the Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team based out of Bozeman, MT in pursuit of reaching my dreams.
The very beginning
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities and was lucky enough to have parents that strapped me onto skis as soon as I could walk. Growing up in Minnesota, I was surrounded by an amazing nordic community which allowed me to meet so many other friends and families that loved the sport. As I got older and more passionate about skiing, I began doing junior races with all my little skier friends. |

High school
During my years at Robinsdale Armstrong High school in Plymouth, Minnesota, I competed for my school ski team along with my home club, Loppet Nordic Racing (LNR). The winter seasons were always very busy as they were filled with high school races, Junior National qualifiers, and other events around the country. Most of the girls that I trained with during my high school years went on to ski in college, and a few went on to ski proffesionally as well. |

College
After graduating high school, I knew that I wanted to further pursue my education as well as my skiing. In the fall of 2016, I ventured up north to the University of Alaska Anchorage which was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. During my time in Alaska, I had several top 10 finishes in the RIMSA circuit, competed at the NCAA championships, represented the U.S in the World Junior Championships in Switzerland, and received degrees in both Health Science and Spanish. |

Now
After graduating from UAA, I knew that I wanted to take my skiing to the next level. In June, I moved out to Bozeman, MT and joined the Bridger Ski Foundation Professional team. This team is made up of 3 men and 3 women and is coached by 4x Olympian, Andrew Newell. Our team has been training hard all summer and fall and we are all super excited for what the season will bring! Along with ski training, I am also working as a caregiver for elderly folks in Bozeman and am also working part time at a local consulting firm to help fund my ski career. |
